The focal point for Netfilmmakers' upcoming edition launching this autumn 2013 is the dissemination of interactive video art, network art and game art through iPad to a specific target group which is children and teenagers.

The exhibition will look at the boundary between art and everyday use of the platform, for example how the use is not always consistent with the producer/artist's intention. Bugs or unexpected use might create new practices and new experiences.

An iPad is perfect for entertainment such as games, literature and video, and why not art? With BUGS we want to unfold but also challenge this platform by confronting the smooth by jumping to the tension, conflict, the gaps in the system, the crash, the contrast, the eavesdropping - and creeping bugs.
