BUGS THE EXHIBITION
An iPad is perfect for entertainment such as games, literature and video, and why not art?
With BUGS we want to unfold but also challenge this platform by confronting the smooth by jumping to the tension, conflict, the gaps in the system, the crash, the contrast, the eavesdropping - and creepinig bugs.
The focal point for' BUGS is the dissemination of interactive video art, network art and game art through iPad to a specific target group which is children and teenagers. It is the first time Netfilmmakers commissions and exhibit art works for this audience.
The BUGS series consists of three art apps.
MIMICS GAME by Thomas Ryder which is an interactive story about the strange teenage life.
MEETO by Mogens Jacobsen, the iPad Selfie Camera App which will show you unexpected ways of creating selfies for you and your friends.
CREEPS by Daniel Skaale/Kassandra Wellendorf, which is an augmented reality game, where you experience beetles to show up under your feet and discover the life down under the drains. You need to print these images before start playing CREEPS:
