Peter Koraca (SL)

(Born in Slovenia 1985)

Peter Koraca is a multimedia artist and a student of the Masters programme of Interaction Design at Designskolen Kolding (Denmark). Previously, he has taken studies in Physics, Psychology, Electronics, Photography and Graphic Technology.

Peter started his career as a freelance designer and flash coder working for studios Kivi Com and Arh Deko. He continued as a photographer for Primafoto and magazines GEA, Moj Planet and Adria Inflight Magazine, whilst taking part in many photographic exhibitions in Slovenia and Denmark. As a photgrapher he was nomianted for the Slovenian Photo of the year 2007 Emzin award for his series on Kashmir.

His path turned into media design for Luks studio and Sadar Vuga Architects in 2007, where his first dabblin with interacton design took place. Since then he has been concetrating mostly on this field, creating interactive art installations experimenting with video, light, sound and most recently on a conceptual piece exploring the correlation between time and monwy in collaboration with a Slovenian artist. Peter finds inspiration from those simple things in everyday life such as the sounds of summer evenings, the smells of winter, the colours of birds.
