Ásta Gylfadóttir
Currently working on her MA in Visual Culture at the University of Copenhagen, specializing in new media art with a particular focus on network culture and interested in participatory and interactive art and social media. During her BA studies in Art history and italian language at the University of Iceland and Bologna she was fascinated by photography as an artistic medium and the struggle between words and images in culture. Interested in mixed realities, digital emotionality and collective creativity.

Project/exhibition assistant at Netfilmmakers since 2008. In charge of graphics such as folders and posters for events and artist talks as well as contributing to other projects like the workshop Mobile Reality at www.krea09.dk, and a social media project for the international multimedia program in the Køge based school 46h.
