Born in 1977. 
Lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Daniel Skaale holds a MA degree in Visual Culture from the University of Copenhagen but has a background in 3D animiation. He is interested in the tension between digitality and body and has made several projects that draw on the idea of ​​Augmented Reality, that is mediating the world through technology such as smartphones and iPads. His thesis (2011) contained a production of a guided tour of Deer Park using Augmented Reality on the smartphone. Among other things, he has also been behind the development of an Android application for the art project Inside Out 2400 (2012). He also works with indie game development, more specifically with the Unity 3D platform for smartphones. Most recently he has started Simulacrum.dk (2013), which intends to develop Augmented Reality for various projects.
