Artist and teacher in the realm of New Media Art
Born 1975, Michael Kargl studied Sculpture at the University “Mozarteum” Salzburg (Austria) with a special focus on Virtual Architecture and Cyberspace. He was lecturer at the University “Mozarteum” Salzburg and is currently head of the Class for Interdisciplinary Arts at the Vienna Art School.
He is co-founder of CONT3XT.NET (2006) – a collaborative platform for the discussion and presentation of issues related to Media Art.
