Søren Thilos works are investigations of the power relations of contemporary society. It is a meeting between contemporary political reality and a fictive construction from where this "reality" can be seen in new perspectives.
The works are mostly media based and works with performance. litterature and text, choreography and narrative fiction, taking place both in the public sphere and in constructive scenarios. The works derive from critical theory often juxtaposied with cinema and literary fiction and revolves around concepts of the socio-political, counter-cultural and the metaphysical. The works' key purpose is to generate unoccupied vessels of potentiality for the spectator to project new philosophies into.
